they should nerf yoshi, yoshi is invincible and thats cool but so is nabbit. the thing is yoshi has waaay too much power with the flutter kick and his tongue attack. combining that with invincible just breaks the game..
make yoshi mortal like the rest of us.. (then we can die like a real gamer when playing as yoshi)
Is it just me or is anyone else wanting to play a game as yoshi but not on easy invincible mode.
Yoshi and Nabbit are there to make the game easier for young kids who can't beat the game otherwise. It's a good addition imo.
You know what I think?
What if when he gets hit he is forced to run off for like a second, like he does in other mario games when mario + yoshi get hit. Then he still can damage boost, but he might run into a pit. Good trade off.
??? this isnt a game thats gonna get balance changes lmao
It's a good thing they added the Yoshis and Nabbit imo. Also, Yoshi can "jump" higher while Nabbit doesn't get knocked back. Nabbit has been created to be the "easy mode" in the Mario games. It's totally fine to let children play some characters, like who the fuck cares really, just play Mario? And has lombre914 said, this game ain't gonna get a patch about it, it's a worthless suggestion, no offense.
of course, this was half sarcastic. but still the ever looming threat of dieing just makes a playthrough feel better. on the other hand it would turn yoshi into a 1 hit KO mode. id be crazy enough to try that. but its prolly better to let that not be a thing.
as for the yoshi knockback, its terrible but great at the same time. i find myself thinking "oh no dont get hit or imma knockback into a pit" and at the same time enraged because theres that moment of just complete and absolute loss of character control movement momentum. its so jarring.
yoshi really is a different way of playing
