Magius, welcome back! Derpydragon's GDQ run was awesome to see, and I liked that he was able to implement your cutscene skip under such pressure.
This Greenery skip idea you posted has been on my personal wishlist since shortly after release...I've spent a few hours across the years trying to make that jump work and it feels like I'm just a few pixels away from it. It would be the biggest skip in the game if possible.
The platforms used to be in a different arrangement prior to release, and one day during testing I discovered that the skip was possible (the Boss door is always unlocked). I told one of the programmers and they adjusted the platforms and added those spikes to the wall. However, the door is still unlocked...I used my dev tools after release to confirm.
I've thought about if that is possible, can you get into the boss fight early? If so it cuts out all of the greenery.
I wish we could get a TAS made and hit the absolute best pixel on the edge of the platform, just to see if it's possible. The unlocked door is right there, calling out to us
I'll try and mess around with it as well. Between the three of us maybe we can find something. That would be a huge skip since we really don't need the boomerang for anything besides greenery.
How good would it be to avoid the 'flappy bird' section hahaha. Godspeed, friends
