Hey DC2 community duds7 somebody knows how to fix the problem when the game stop running on PC version when you're gonna start Triceratops segment? thanks a lot

Does not crash on my pc version.
i run it with admin rights and xp compatibility mode

So weird MisterDodi :/ i used compatibility and admin rights and i'm still having the same issue, i'll reinstall the game and i'll let you know if that fixes my problem

Fixed, i had to reinstall my OS 'cuz were a corrupted update :) thanks

I have the same problem here, just after triceratops cutscene I get black screen and then crash into desktop, without any warning or error. Can you please tell me how exactly have you fixed the problem, and if there's another way to fix it without reinstalling OS?? Thanks!

OK. After so many tries and fails i found a solution to my problem but i can propose 2 if you're agree with them

1. Installing a Virtual Machine with Windows XP giving at least 2GB of RAM and using a local OBS in that VM (difficult)
2. Disabling Windows Aero Peek (for Windows greater than W7 basic) on your PC (No matter if you do that with using OBS, do with the Windows option)

3. This one works in some PCs, replacing your Windows theme by a Windows XP classic theme

Not sure if those solutions works for W8, 8.1 and 10, but better if somebody can confirm that. Hope this help you a lot duds7

OK so I tried the second and third solution, but none of them worked for me, don't know why - btw I have windows 7 home premium. So I guess there's only one solution left for me now, despite I'm not very fond of virtual machines. Julian I wonder what did you mean with corrupted update, because of which you had to reinstall OS? Can you fix it without reinstalling?

If you have windows update activated, maybe there's an update that isn't allowing you playing the game, I have W7 professional with a clean installation and works without problems. Now, there are a few PC versions of this game that maybe we should test.

- Zenix mentioned once he has a Xsplosiv PAL version of the game that works on W10 without problems.
- There's a Sourcenext that is on the same store of the website but the cost is too much for my country right now with the dollar :(

Well I have already tried some different versions of the game, but it was all the same, stuck at this Inner Compound with Triceratops, damn it :P However I still didn't try versions you have mentioned above, Julian, so thank you for this, I'll give it a shot.

Deadhunter, my game was playing a little slow at the water level too, but it was still decently playable, so I didn't mind it. However, the sound and the menu in my game works just fine. Thank you again guys, aprecciate it!

Would be a good for community if the PC version is playlable in my opinion :) sometimes in this kind of cases i wish i could play in a original console or the PC version of the game, but well i'm still testing how can be fixed this issue instead of doing a downgrading of the OS
