I know this is kind of dead but I wanted to ask if there is any problem at all with trying to do the runs on Dolphin instead of the real hardware.

I ask because at the moment I am unable to do it with my own Wii due to several limitations.

P.S: In case it's possible, would the run on Dolphin be put on a different category?

Dolphin being inaccurate regarding emulation speed it cannot be on the same board as console. I don't see a good reason to make a board for emulation either. But that doesn't stop you from doing runs!
