I just noticed the Project 64 resource suggests 2.0 or higher. Those versions are universally banned on every other game: The game just may emulate poorly. If you'll allow 2.0+ then at least keep console and emulator runs separate. |

Thank you for posting this, I actually didn't knew about these issues. I'll remove the emulator suggestion for now and I'll do several tests with lower versions and maybe other emulators (I tried some others, but most have problems with graphics and colors for this rom). As soon as I get back my N64 I'll also do a test like the one shown in the video to see the differences in framerate. Those results will tell whether or not runs might be separated. Also (just for the discussion) the important measure is In-Game Time (because the game timer never stops, even at pause and cutscenes) and is independent of the frame rate. |
