Emulation

I'm switching to emulator because it's easier to record, but I don't like downloading ROMs. So I'm using my ps1 disks meaning switching is slower. I propose to switch the dis with the timer going, but pase it when I have to manually tell the emulator that the disks have been switched out. When the load screen pops up again timer is on pause. Just a suggestion though.

I think it's better to pause entirely when you have to do all the switching then. If others runners come one day, i don't want the rules to be too much complicated. The only rule i want is to not make a break during this pause ^^.

First off, congrats on deciding to tackle the elusive PlayStation version. I personally prefer PC because of emulation problems so it's cool to see someone interested in running it anyways.

I agree with Alien. Pausing to switch discs seems fair. Wouldn't want discs getting damaged if we took them in and out too fast. While the tactical speed of physically switching the discs quickly sounds cool, a more accurate gauge of how someone can play the game would be to eliminate that element from run times.
