So because I am letting you have a second chance if you can prove yourself instead of just letting a you just start submitting runs again (like a moderator should) you say I don't have "basic thinking skills" Sounds like you are getting desperate. All I want is 100% conclusive proof that you didn't cheat before I let you submit runs again.

At this point, I'm not entirely sure that speedy is still blaming Michael just because he believes he somehow cheated. Perhaps he's carrying on this discussion just to hide his real intentions and he's distracting the speedrun.com Appel community with many excuses while he's planning something bigger than we can imagine. Maybe we're just wasting our time talking over and over again, while speedy is not caring about us: in the past days he's been writing short answers to get our disagreements and continue the discussion and in the meantime he even had the time to post new runs.

What I'm saying is that this story has lasted too long and it's become a ridiculous situation to talk about this run when there are evident proofs Michael did not cheat.

Besides, speedy is a very suspicious guy: he recently became a moderator, he started to take over as such and began feeding a discussion that made sense at the beginning but then started to become a waste of time. Also, notice that he's in the Top 3 of the Appel FG category.

Maybe I'm wrong and maybe WE should be more comprehensive or HE should be more comprehensive. Anyway, right now we're not solving anything by blaming each other, so we should really try to express ourselves in a better way, because although Michael clarified himself really well in my opinion, we should change our approach methods, and I'm especially referring to speedy, who didn't really explain why he wants further proofs.

I think I haven't been very coherent in my post, but these are my ideas about this situation.

I feel like we are arguing about different things at this point. You guys say there is no proof Michael cheated. I agree with that. But I'm just asking why Michael was unbanned in the first place if he was caught cheating before. Also why would I want to stir up problems in the first place? I've been part of the community for years. tbh I've been convinced the run wasn't cheated, at this point I just want to make sure everyone remembers what michael did.

I'm not sure that's entirely accurate, but I do agree that this discussion isn't doing anything. Why would we be able to replicate what happens with Michael Chan's computer? Unless somebody lives in the same place and has the same computer, this proof isn't feasible.

Something I want to know is: Has Michael ever seen the load time speeeeedy wants? Or is it always like the one in his fullgame% run? If it always happens, then it has nothing to do with the way he packaged it. (I also play on packaged, but don't have a windows)

If michael tried to speed up the timer in his 4:07 run, why didn't the mods notice the time gap or try to retime it? I understand that speeeedy wasn't a mod at the time, but that kind of leniency shouldn't happen.

Also could my fullgame% run be retimed? I don't think its fair for Michael's run to be retimed, but not mine. (It doesn't really matter, as nodoby's time is relatively close to mine) but if one of the mods could, I would appreciate it. :)

I'm glad stuff is resolved. Yes, do acknowledge debating skills may not be as 'conclusive', but, I'm sure we're all just kids, and in society, debating skills is what determines your guilt in court. That's just how reality works.

Thanks to everyone, and I mean everyone, for sparing their time in this discussion, I have definitely learnt a lot.
