Hello,

Sorry for not answering earlier, I only recently saw the notification that your messages were posted here (Usually, when people have questions or remarks, they contact mods on discord, so i'm not used to look here - last post before yours was around one year ago. Sorry again for missing it!)

I have to admit that, for me, the usage of speedrun.com was mostly for runs that weren't timed already by the game itself. In my knowledge, dungeons speedruns were the first things ported on the website (I might be wrong though, I wasn't playing the game at that time), and later on everything related to end-game PvE was added since there was a need of a place to compare logs and runs. But with the "recent" addition of world completion, and SAB as well (even if the latter has been here for a while now), I could understand every kind of race being added here, as long as enough people wish to make something out of it (that's why it hasn't been added to the website yet, either no one wanted it before or no one brought it up earlier to a GW2 speedrun moderator ^^

As you say, the current timing method by anet of griffon & rollerbettles races has flaws, so I do understand that they could be added on this website. However, that would first mean quite some initial investment to add the categories, but also some more long-term one with ruling and reviews. When you say "there r quite a few ppl who would have loved to compre their race times and compete with other ppl", how many would that represent, approximatively? I absolutely don't know since I'm not versed in this kind of competition, but it does interest me to have an idea of how worth it would be to start handling those races :)

If it were to happen, I guess you'd indeed be the mod by default since you're the one who brought up this topic. How would you envision this speedrunning category? Have you looked at what's already existing to have an idea of how to organise it?
