Proposed addition to rules

What are people's thoughts on adding a rule that says "Glitches that require the use of a previously cleared character are banned"?

I've been getting questions from a few viewers/commenters on why we don't use the early ultimate glitch since there's nothing in the rules that says we can't, and that would clear that up.

Agreed. If there is interest in doing glitched runs I would propose that those would go under a different category in general then the main ones.

The more specific the rules are the easier it is for people to join the ranks and not be confused. I know with some games I haven't joined for speedruns because the rules are not defined at all or grandfathered in and you would need to be a long time runner to know them all.

Well tbh now that the crucible is in the route that glitch is kind of outdated anyway, since you can level just about as fast from the crucible

I had never implemented the rule because i felt it was implied. Rule 4 being normal difficulty, rule 3 run must be done alone (though I could clear up ambiguous wording there). Also using another character to enter a higher difficulty is on par with using crafting mats from another character (which is also ruled out). ¤shrug¤. If you want me to clear up ambiguity in the rules I can...I just wasn't aware it was needed.

I mean... I feel like the three of us and Grib get it, but newcomers to the game/community might not so it'd be a good thing to clarify. Idk.

Also if we're editing the rules we should probably add that showing the stash in the crucible before the run is also allowed if you're going to craft (at least I'm assuming everyone is okay with that seeing as how I've done it in runs and no one's complained lol).

Yeah I'm fine with that. I will clarify the rules a bit here in the next few days when I find the time.
