Nice memes.
I have no idea what runs you’re talking about, but more than likely the runs were verified before the new rules were put into place for sub 90 minute times. Since those runs were verified at one time they wouldn’t be removed, it’s just that no new sub 90 runs will be verified if they violate the updated rules.

how long must i wait for my run that a mod give it free Kappa
Yep. The tourney going on has caused a LOT of new runs to be submitted, and most of the active moderators are in the tourney or running it. I think there have been nearly 150 runs submitted in the past two months. Keep in mind most of them are over 90 minutes long, so it takes a minute or two to get through them. Thank you for your patience!
I have a question, i plan on setting up retroarch for running and i found out about Run-Ahead to reduce input lag. As long as i dont have it running faster than a console, will this be ok? and if so does anyone know the frame input lag for alttp so i can set it up properly?
We have not made an official decision on run-ahead, but I would strongly advise against using it until the mods get to officially discuss it.
You should be able to mitigate the standard emulator input delay via the frame delay setting without worrying about eliminating the native input lag to console, which is what Runahead does.
Thank you, so i should set frame delay to the right number to match console. i will do that and await a decision on the Run ahead setting :)
Frame delay should be cranked as high as your computer can handle. Runahead should be disabled for now just to be safe.
will do, i set frame delay to 15 but the game ran really slow, i can run it at 0 with no problems as well. I want toi try to be competitive so im also guessing the best core is higan-accuracy? my comp can handle it
I use Snes9x core. Frame delay is what will reduce input lag to normal levels. Try setting it at 8 or so. I’ll be putting up a video on this topic tonight or tomorrow.
awesome, thank you so much screevo, btw you are hilarious, i always had a fun time lurking when you stream alttp,
edit:i just went to your channel and saw the video, very awesome stuff. Thank you so much again.
I know that you practice on console, I'm curious how you do so? do you play the base game, or do you modify something to use save states? I would like to start running the game but would like to know the best way to start practicing.
