For the any% run, what are the official timing rules and what extras, if any, are used?

I believe I understand the timing change, but I'm curious about the use of fast force and fast build.

Thanks!

There are no extras allowed unless you do Any% NG+ Storymode, and timing starts when you gain control on 1-1 and ends when you lose control on the last level.

Sorry for double post: so say I am only running the prequel trilogy, would the timer end once I kill Anakin or would it end like in the full run which is when the level complete screen shows?

Or, if I am running only episode one, does it end once I kill Darth Maul or like the normal run when the complete window shows?

If you're doing specifics like that the timing is still the same, it starts as you gain control of the characters and stops when you lose control of the characters.

If you are interested in only running the prequels, there is a game called,"LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game." With ONLY the prequels.

@Phionex That's true, but there are substantial differences between the original game and TCS. Enough that I'd consider them seperate games. 1-4 and 2-5 are very different in TCS, and 2-1 in TCS (The Zam level) doesn't exist in the original game.
