Hi there, I'm looking to start running DW4H I think I could get some really good runs.
The question/problem I have is, is that the game does not natively run on my computer without the DirectionLock mod. I've heard this is a constant issue on newer machines and it's the only way I can play the game. Would this be allowed for speedruns, and if not could it be a separate category?
I've never heard of those issues. Why is it required? Can you show where you got this mod, because it sounds interesting.
I mean, if anything else, we could just make a direction-lock disabled category.

I'm in a decent sized DW Discord. There is a popular mod called DirectionLock which essentially allows you to change directions whilst mid attack, (similar to how you'd move in DW5). The mod comes in it's own launcher that also enables widescreen.
From the people I've talked with in the Discord, this mod is what lets a lot of people play Hyper as there's a lot of compatibility issues with new systems.
