This is a guide for an input display to use for Crash% but it can be used in normal situations as well (OBS ONLY)

Go the the github page for OBS Input overlay at https://github.com/univrsal/input-overlay/releases

Download the Windows installer and the presets .zip file.

Run the Installer (You may get prompted with an error message, press "More information" and then "Run anyway").

Download the zip file at the end of this guide for the full keyboard overlay.

Make a folder anywhere on your PC, this will contain all the presets for the input overlay.

Unpack the zip files you downloaded in this folder.
6.5 In each folder you will find a .json file as well as .png file(s), you can edit .pngs in any way you want, just make sure the keyboard is clearly visible.

Open OBS and at the bottom of the 'Sources' tab, press the + and select 'Input Overlay', then OK.

For "Overlay image file" go into the folder you created, go into one of the preset folders (For Crash% you need the full keyboard, which is named "qwerty_full") and select the .png file (See below for more information about the different keyboards files provided)

For "Overlay config file" go into the same preset folder and select the .json file.

Verify that your inputs are being registered and press OK

Create a new Input Overlay source for the mouse

For "Overlay image file" go into the preset folder named "mouse" and select the .png file.

For "Overlay image file" go into that folder again and select one of the .json files, mouse movement is not needed so select which one you're most comfortable with.

Resize both of the overlays and make sure they're fairly visible.

(Optional) Right click on one of the sources and select filters if you want to alter the input overlays in ways like hue shift, opacity etc.
Additional information about the full overlay
-The "qwerty_full" preset provided is a modified version of the pre-made "qwertz_full_size_german" preset, as the full QWERTY-style keyboard is a pixel version, which some might consider as bad-looking.
-There are 4 different versions provided, 2 of them are full opacity (dark and light) while the other 2 are 75% opacity on unselected keys (dark_2 and light_2)
-As mentioned previously, you are free to modify them in any way you may desire, just make sure all keys are visible
-The .json file works for all 4 presets, but it does not work for others
