Here is an in-depth guide for Crash% Make sure you have an input display working, I've made guides for that too. I recommend watching the World Records as well

-1. Back up your save files, e.g put them in a zip file or on your desktop, then load into the game and delete them. Once you're done with your running session, create new save files in each slot and replace your new save files with your backed up ones.

  1. Before each run, align your cursor properly. The easiest way to do that is to put it within the triangle on the left side of the crane, you can put it roughly so your bottom points of the cursor touch the most top and most left parts of the crane.
  2. Start the timer and press space/enter at the same time (I will usually say space, but both work), then press space again when you can go into the save file selector. With a tiny delay press F, then with another delay press Down (S or down arrow work).
  3. Spam Right arrow and D at the same time (usually you want to go for either 3 double presses or 6 individual right presses for "Find The Embers" or 4 double presses or 8 individual presses for "Rendezvous").
  4. Once you start loading into "Find the Embers" or "Rendezvous", you should see the timer go up again, once it has reached +2.9s, press your skills menu hotkey (e.g your timer stops at 2.50 during the loading screen, at roughly 5.40 press skills menu hotkey).
  5. When you press your skills menu hotkey, press the following buttons in this order: Left click, space, Left click, Left click, space, move your mouse down to the throw ability, Left click, Left click, space, Skills menu button (it must be a button on your keyboard, mouse buttons will not work for this)
  6. While exiting the menu, start holding down Right click, and after you can see your weapon being held up, press left click to throw the weapon and after a small delay, exit the game to the main menu
  7. Your timer should stop midway through the loading screen, this is hopefully your final time. Now the only thing left to do is wait until your game exits to desktop.

Congrats! You have now learned another quirk of the game and how to do it fast.
