The new skip to jump onto the extended platform won me more than enough time to even beat the wr of easy difficulty. I started the skip a bit too early, so the camera got stuck but somehow I still managed to get to the top of the platform and jump across. It was kind of blind luck as I've never done it successfully with that camera angle.
