Add no death runs

No death 10 levels, 25 levels, 50 levels and 100 levels, would add a lot more things to do

United States

To get a good speedrun in the first place though, you kinda can't die.

100 levels without dying once would be a challenge.

United States

Good Point!

10 levels deathless isn't much of a challenge though

United States

Any% however would be amazing

I am not adding runs where you can't die. It's just the normal categories, but it's just SIGNIFICANTLY more strict. Also no person is good enough at this game (yet) to the point where they can beat it deathless.

Singapore

the point of it is the fact that it would be a challenge

There doesn't need to be a category for somebody to challenge themselves, there are some of runs done in the 50 hour range that don't have an actual category for them.

So i haven't played DRIVE MAD for a while, but will return now, and i actually think that this category would be a nice add on. And so i wanted to ask you if I have Video proof that I have a no death Speedrun and sent it to you, could you add this category for Speedrunning? I also could try to beat the normal record (what should be possible with no death easily)

As a speedrunner, I think all normal speedruns will eventually evolve into no-death speedruns(as that is the quickest way to finish a level). However, adding no-death speedruns can help raise the bar for the game and improve players' skills. So I think that a no-death category can be added, but when most players can perform no-death runs, then the normal and no-death categories can be merged into one normal category.

I think its a good idea
