First run finished without a billion deaths or bonus fails, and I'm happy with it.
Most of the timesave over the 2020 WR comes from a bunch of cute bonus room optimizations, and a few DK coin grab optimizations.
Also found that beating Floodlit in one cycle and playing out the second half with Enguarde saves roughly 20 seconds over doing two visits with OOB. Luckily figured out pretty safe and consistent strats for Enguarde Floodlit too.
Finally, used a totally different bear coin route, though it's probably not the most optimal. Got 55 coins before Pacifica to reduce Bazaar visits and/or avoid a Pacifica re-entry (saves almost 10 seconds), but some coin grabs were pretty slow and I should have timed them. This route also requires not going for Ellie Skip in 1-5 (which would only save about 2 seconds on a first-try throw), and not going for Low-G OOB (which would only save like 7-8 seconds in this category).
No local recording for this run unfortunately; got scared after seeing some encoding errors earlier this stream. Luckily the stream had no framedrops (but the framerate is still dog shit because of DS capture software jank).
