The keen observer may ask, "Why is this NOT a high score on the leaderboard?" There is a glitch that can cause credit for an extra kill. My high score of 27220 was a 34 second run. 28 kills (instead of 27) were counted on the high score run, giving an extra 150 points. If the bonus kill glitch had happened on this run, the score would have been 27260 because you get 20 points for each second saved.
As of posting this run I only have theories about how the bonus kill glitch happens and have not been able to duplicate it with any consistency. The glitch has no relevance to a speedrun, only the in game leaderboards.
To anyone interested in submitting a run, at least one mod (Wavuvi) is checking for new runs multiple times a week. Remember to jump cancel your shotgun slowdown and turn off ALL skills (including team) for fresh runs!
