Having finally managed to get the game to not crash in championship mode anymore, I figured it would be time to do a few attempts at a full game run. My first runs all came in around the 1:50h mark and struggled a lot with the OOB skip for the Red Planet maps, which can be quite random/tricky to get. Naturally, this lost a big chunck of time, since it needs to be done 9 times in total. After a bit of back and forth, I did eventually find a fairly reliable setup, resulting in this run.

Compared to my sum-of-best this is about 9.5min slower (the one on screen is wrong). About 4min are still lost to getting the OOB skips done, but getting all of them first try is unrealistic. For Red Planet I got all 9 skips in 18 attempts, which is a bit better than what I could do in practice. Another minute is lost to missing a lap while oob. That's just going to happen at some point, with what little information you have available while driving. The remaining 4.5min are just due to mistakes adding up over the entire run (e.g. a missed shortcut on The Pole can quickly add a lot to that), so all in all I'm quite happy with this for now.

There is still a OOB skip for Metro City Long that is unused in this run and many more to be discovered, so a lot more is possible.
