I've come up with a new category that's relatively short. Bu short I mean 1-2 hours which is an average speedrun IMO.
It's sort of like a Souls game run kinda thing.

While it may be calculated in real time, it is a decent category that can get some people into running this game more. C'mon let's grow this community!
I'll do a run of this myself with a timer, but I need to figure out how to edit a timer into a Twitch vod since I don't have a Capture Card yet
This sounds like a really interesting idea I like it. I'm all for this run being on the site we just have to get FleshCrunch to agree on this to. If this does get accepted it will be timed in both RTA and in-game time which you can get by adding all the mission times together.
Yeah dude. I'm all for it. It's more things to do at some point in time. Maybe it'll get more people into the speedrunning side of the community.

I'd say cut out having to kill Baxx and Ta'arn in Last Rites since they aren't mandatory for completing the mission.
That is true. I'd just though it would make things more interesting since they are killable. But I will remove them. I guess the Moon gets no love XD
Zecora, for the IGT version of this, would your time still count if you exit the mission as soon as the ultra is killed and check your time (vs the current standard of waiting for the "Mission Complete" to pop up)?
Ta'arn and Baxx do get killed in Regicide, so you still end up killing all ultras :)
Just curious, as this sounds quite interesting to run, and I haven't run anything in Destiny for a while. Would this be found under the "Full-game Leaderboard"?
EDIT: Are we required to time it both in RTA and IGT, or can we choose just one? If we require both, we'll have to show the mission timer each time, but if it's RTA only, you could just skip that and go right to the next mission. (saving a bit of time there for RTA only)
IGT is timed the same way as IL's but with all the times for each mission added together just like the way i time the segmented speedrun.

It's requested that you time in both RTA and IGT. IGT is the time that will be ranked in the leaderboard but there are 2 NG+ all level runs that were timed in RTA before we came up with doing IGT aswell.
EDIT: If the ultra that you have to kill is not the final kill in the mission you go to orbit and check your mission report and record your time into the time calculator I added into the resources page on the site.
