Here's a skip I've been workshopping for a bit but finally was able to do. Once you leave the monorail to enter Tombaugh, you can make it over to that small ledge and climb over the cliff walls. Only if you get it first try though haha.

Oh this is awesome! I was trying to do something like this the other day, but I didn't try that ledge right there. I thought the jump was pretty consistent after doing it a few times in a row, but now I'm missing it quite often. If you do miss it, it would probably just be better to keep going without the skip because that cutscene is excruciating.

Heres my small adjustment to the skip where you can actually go directly to the end:

All in all, this saves about 30 seconds. Pretty good stuff, thank you for this contribution!

I might spend some time finding a backup that doesn't lose you 30 seconds or a more consistent way of getting that jump.

Super cool! I didn’t try goin up there because when I was testing a bit ago with just the ASE I couldn’t fly him up there. Very nice.

Ridiculous is right. I've tried this trick again over and over and got it twice. It wouldn't be so bad if there weren't a 1:28 cutscene (i timed it) but practicing this is rough. I wish there were like a save state mod or something just to practice these tricks.

This is kinda cool honestly.

Update: Just got it 4 times in a row.

Just like in Dilly's video reply above me here, you want to face the cliff wall in the direction of the ledge. Once you're there and stationary, it is very easy to jump high and navigate around the corner as opposed to jumping left and skidding around the corner. Expect good things, new run coming soon (hopefully)
