Shoutout to @janglestorm for being there during this stream. He ran the game a while ago, and he gave me a crucial tip for the run (Pressing a button when you hit something to stop a bounce).
Not a great run, but I had to start somewhere, and I couldn't grind more during this session. At least this is a good base for future improvements, and I still got some great fights. It's such a promising run, I'm looking forward to run it more!
Don't hesitate to give me more tips ;)
Sum-up of the run
-
World 1: I got a one cycle Rocky fight, which was great. Megaraknoid was good, and the King Shielder is improvable. Overall an okay segment.
-
World 2: Okay segment too. 2-5 wasn't great, and I missed a cycle on Reptomaton.
-
World 3: More issues on this segment. Missed a hit on Divebomber. I had my first (pretty dumb) death on Eelsie's fight. I saved time at the end, because I didn't die on Cycloptopus (Which wasn't even a great fight), but I'm not really happy about this segment.
-
World 4: Probably the worst segment of my run, which coincide with an elevation of the difficulty (Some enemies' IA are starting to be tough). I missed a cycle on Squaker and Colossus. The worst part were two deaths on Masked Warrior (Its IA has Mr.Gimmick level of feints. I need to understand it better), and I forgot to take the sword. Windbag and Master Jupiter were good at least.
-
World 5: Not a great 5-4 (I don't like fighting Ouroborus especially). Many minor mistakes, especially early, but at least I didn't die compared to previous run, and Ifrit was a great fight. Pretty proud of myself here.
-
World 6: Died on 6-1 Waddler fight (Another IA I need to learn. I got lucky on the previous run). Had a bad Rascal's key drop on 6-2. I beat Cursed Cauldron in 2 cycles, while I had a lucky 1 cycle on previous run. Senexis and Durwain were fine, but they can be better. Overall very improvable segment with many mistakes and things to learn.
Total deaths: 4
