Hi Wii Play Motion runners! Some significant changes have hit the leaderboards recently which are worthy of a news post here so everyone is aware.

First/Last Stage rule

The rule requiring runners to start with the first game/stage and end with the last game/stage has been removed. Previously, runs of some categories had to follow this rule, for example, Cone Zone start and Star Shuttle end in All Games, or Stage 1 start and Stage 30 end in Teeter Targets. This rule has been removed, meaning games/stages can be completed in any order. This will allow runners to get into the most important games faster in runs.

2P strats

Runs where using two controllers can be faster now have a 2P subcategory if at least one game was played in 2P mode. This has mainly been allowed because you can obtain medals in some games while playing in 2P mode which allows for significant timesaves in some games, notably Pose Mii Plus, Trigger Twist, Jump Park, and Spooky Search. Not every category saves time by using 2P in all of these games, however it adds a significant amount of strats to some runs.
