This was a really fun run! No major missteps on my part, and I benefitted greatly from a trio of running opponent starts from DDP, Scott Norton, and Disco Inferno. I also took a gamble (it was early in the run, so I figured, “Why not?”) by trying to beat Rick Steiner without the additional corner cycle security blanket, and was lucky enough to pull off the “Quick Rick.” Had he kicked out at two (which he does quite frequently), it likely would have ended the run. This one was painfully close to 5:3X RTA territory for this category, so I am not walking away from it just yet.
