Germanynope. none of the time saving glitches we have in the game change the run in a significant enough way to warrant a category split, neither do they make the any% category any less interesting or fun to watch/run. (they arguably do the opposite since the biggest sequence breaks skip very long and uninteresting wave fights)

You already got a short reply about this on your reddit post, but I figured I'd just reply here aswell so this post isn't all lonely in here. The main thing that speaks against adding slowrunning leaderboards for me is that it kind of goes against the whole idea of speedrunning, given that it's the exact opposite thing. It's a good gag, and leaderboards aren't a bad idea, I just don't think that speedrun.com is the ideal place to host them. If you're super hellbent on having some form of leaderboards for this sort of thing, I'd recommend hosting your own leaderboards via google spreadsheets for example. A few other speedrun communities host some or all of their leaderboards externally, like Halo & SM64 for Single Star records.
