they declined my emulator top 1 run too because i covered the pause button with my timer wich i think is really dumb but this is even worse because everything is visible, your overlay is transparent so there should be no issue here. also can you send me your run

ngl it does make sense to take down a run that has no video for multiple reasons like for example what if someone cheats and it somehow gets past one of the verifiers, now since you deleted it you basically removed any chance of spotting the cheating. also just imagine a run being on leaderboard and all the players that didnt see the run have no proof you actually did it. so i think its reasonable to remove a run that has NO surviving footage i think most games on speedrun.com have that rule unless the run is obsolite witch in that case nobody would really care about it since its not shown on the leaderboard in the first place.

i do agree with some other things i read here about mobile players using keyboard and mouse to submit runs. to me that's extremely unfair to actual mobile players and i believe mobilator runs should just be submitted to the Emulator category. it seems like emulator is completely dead because why play it when you can just use a keyboard and mouse on mobile😂. so i do agree with that.

and for the ksjs and yunying_MH thing if what i read is true thats extremely bias and unfair. if Tavvs mobile run that was using that modded las vegas version was accepted into the leaderboard then there should be no reason why chinese players that used the exact same version were getting their run took down because of it. i also used that same version in an older run and it wasnt rejected plus i know a bunch of runs that used that version aswell so IF what they are saying is true then there is definitely an unfair bias there.

@KilleDragon they know all of this and they know its dumb they just dont care 😂 im highly convinced there is some kind of bias against non Brazilian players around here. this isnt an accusation or anything but its just what it seems to me.

@KilleDragon thats not the reason they gave at all. so i talked to other mods plus the one in this thread and apparently the reason is because they cant see the exact frame when the run starts because they use the exact frame when the pause button appears or disapears to know when the run officially starts or ends. this is dumb because the score and the coin overlay appears and disapears at the EXACT same frame as the pause button so that excuse dosnt even make sense since you could use the score and coin overlay to find the frame the game starts. and for the thing you said about people pausing the game to pause and splice a run, there is NO animation that is shown when you click pause so even if like lets say someone was pausing the game to splice runs or something there is no visual que or animation when you click pause in most versions people play so covering the pause button doesn't do anything or give any advantage in that sense either. i also said he can erase a full minute from my run if the concern is if they accidentally add to me time or something and removing a minute solves that issue entirely too.

but you dont see how its unfair that this rule is NO WHERE in the rule list??? im okay with you literally erasing an entire minute from my run too this solves all ur problems lol idk why it matters that you cant get the perfect frame where the run starts or ends you can still see the full 59 minutes 😭😭😭.... idk maybe im crazy or something but to erase 59 minutes of the ENTIRE run just because u cant get the precise frame of where it started or ended is insane to me

there should literally be no reason why my top 1 emulator run is being rejected for a rule that is not even on the rules list. my run was rejected because the timer covered the pause button 😭 first off how does this change anything about my run??? and i read all of the rules and it says nothing about that so i basically wasted all this time grinding for top 1 for no reason. if its concerns about pausing or something u can hear the game sounds never cutoff plus u can hear my spotify music in the backround too and it never cutoffs and i have the full recording. to me it just seems off and kind of weird but yeah basically add every rule to your rulebook so you dont have cases where people who are following all of the rules on the page are still being punished.
