You want to start mashing on the second listed, they are already adjusted to account for the time taken to actually save the game.

As has already been said, you'll find more useful and up to date resources in the discord, the resources/guide pages here are pretty neglected.

Played in windowed and it worked fine.

I tested it using text boxes and in the item menu where you can clearly hear how fast the turbo is working and it was easily consistent enough.

I was using a mili seconds delay of 33 for reference.

That's only a trial program but I just tested it and it worked perfectly.
I imagine there should be some similar free alternatives.
