The Funkey gave me two yellow orbs and a health one when I killed it after leading it to the energy gate. Is it random what it gives you? If not, how do I make it consistently give me energy orbs and not health orbs?

I'd really like to know how to double-bash. I've seen it done, but I have no idea how to actually do it
