pretty doable in runs. I estimate it saves about 2 seconds
also been cooking this up aware of the final jumps for years but i could never figure out a good way to go about it.

felt the need to goof around a bit and came up with this
haven't been able to make it work without getting the blocks but it has potential.
so idk if this is exclusive to the y8 browser but right after you absorb a block you can jump slightly higher
its essentialy the same principle with the 17 skip but you absorb downwards instead of horisontally
now the jump at the start of two i have no idea on how to do consistently and idk if it can be done elsewere
i do plan on running the game
dont have alot of time right now so it will have to wait a bit
idk if i will be running the sequel it never relly intrested me that much. tough i wouldnt be opposed to help searching for strats

sure if intrested the discord is the best place to talk whit other runners
so right now we have 3 ways to clip trough stuff
1 the oldest peice of tech in the game: trap skip. the way we clip here is wii exclusive but works by having an object fall onto us and push us out. sadly its only usefull for set trick because of how it works
2 the push clip. quite hard to explain but its ecentially you getting pushed oob by jumping up in you partners feet. it seems to be 100% random and if not we have no idea of how it works or why it works. so far push clips are some of the more usefull clip but their inconsistecie and the fact that they are wii only makes them not used. push clipping can be made more consistent if you use an object like a pumpkin (see the start of ttgc in my and deadshots ng+ runs) but we have only found set location of it being usefull
3 slide clips. slide clips are the easiest and most consistent form of clipping plus it works on all versions which is awesome. A slide clip is performed by doing a jump into a small gap between a wall and a destroyable object or medcrate and if you lucky you can just clip right trough the wall. right now slide clips are relatively poorly understood since we dont know how to diffreciate walls thats clippable and walls that aint. due to the limitation for slide clips we right now only have 2 usefull clips and 1 of them gets ruined because of some stupid warp thing.
you cant actually play this game on the ds. the ds version is wildly diffrent than the console psp one and therefore the ds has seperate leaderboards. heres a link if your intrested. https://www.speedrun.com/pafatsdds

no the any% category for il is atleast for me done on a file that is already completed so you have the jetpack and fully upgraded weapons and i wanted to know if i should make a new category ng+ and let regular any% be from a new file or let it be as it is.
So i have been promoted and Want to know if anyone would Care if i added a ng+ categorie for il runs
after a bit more testing i am sad to say it bud it is probaly eksklusive to that place
