Brazilit doesn't count during level 5's cutscene, no. the IGT time is accurate and eliminates weird loading times. the only place where it's not accurate is if you perform weird repeated menu exits, causing you to lose IGT.
i actually started to perform those repeated menu exits at the very start of my runs recently, it saves about half a second on real time; but even then, with WR igts, the RTA would still be even slower than my current pb, and even with a better computer than before.
just weird stuff.
just a lot of practice, but maybe in level 4 i used bubbles after beating level 5.
unrelated to this, this game page should really change its timing method to IGT. i've got some considerably faster PBs, but that just lose time to the wr for no reason

idk how it exactly works, but you basically delete the autosave of the map loaded and it will give you the default ammo, weapons, health etc
Videos aren't necessary. The most common way to submit your runs is by recording demos. Just go to Resources and install the Demo Auto-Recorder Plugin (recording demos also don't affects fps).
But you can just submit video, with a risk of not being approved. (to record videos, use OBS, all the rest is fucked)
