Hello everyone,
I’ve noticed that many of the current runs on the CubeCraft Category Extensions leaderboards rely on "cage" glitches that are no longer achievable or were performed on maps that no longer exist. This creates a major issue: it effectively blocks new runners from competing fairly because the fastest times are locked behind exploits or content that’s no longer available.
The rules already state that limited edition or discontinued maps should not be used for runs, yet there are still leaderboard entries completed on such maps that remain active and non-obsolete. This undermines the intended fairness of the rules and keeps the boards in a state where certain records are permanently unbeatable.
I’d like to propose the following:
- Mark all glitch based runs that are no longer replicable especially those tied to limited edition or removed maps as obsolete, regardless of when they were set.
- Apply the existing rule retroactively, so that any runs done on discontinued or limited edition maps are removed from active leaderboards.
- Treat runs with missing or unavailable videos as obsolete, since they cannot be verified.
By implementing these changes:
- We preserve fairness and accessibility for all runners.
- We align the leaderboards with the rules already in place.
- We prevent stagnant and unbeatable records from blocking competition.
Thank you for considering these adjustments. I’d be happy to help draft clear rule wording or assist in reviewing current runs for compliance.
