For context, this is a repost of the thread on the main leaderboard. Like I mentioned in that thread, if you want to participate in decisions like these via polls, join the discord server.
Through consensus of the community and staff, we've decided to swap No Update 2 and Update 2 for Adventure Mode. This means every previously submitted run to the category will be moved to Category Extensions, where it will live next to the Unscrew categories. The primary reason for this change is because it's such an RNG based category, again, like Unscrew, that it detracts from the entertainment value significantly. No Update 2, we've found over time and enough casual play, is far less RNG dependent and more strategy focused, like a typical JRPG, more so than their Fixed Party counterparts in some cases. Anyway, we hope this change will create more attention towards a category that I personally believe should have been given the attention it deserved from the beginning.
It occured to me while playing and running Final Night for the IL category, that if you died you could skip the entire cutscene. If that happened and a run was submitted, what would happen? Would it be rejected? I personally thought that it might be a good idea to take it into measure and make the rules so that IF you have died before on Final Night Timing starts once the "Final Night" option on the main menu is selected. Obviously it's the mods' call, and I won't be going deep into that, you guys make the rules.
Hello to everyone who clicked on the thread! How's your day going? I'm writing this as a request for Tealerland as a speedrunnable FNAF Fan game on speedrun.com, and there is a few good factors that will be interesting while runners do this game: There is a time in the bottom left corner, which shows you your time in the hour and your overall time of all of the levels. There is also a big difference in how you play the game and more in the actual gameplay that will effect your final time more greatly than just waiting for 6am There is already tons of uploaded to Youtube Tealerland speedruns and it is very tight! The current world record held by me and the second place respectfully to Frogger25 have a gap of only 5 seconds which is very small indeed. There is always somewhere to improve which will make this game even more interesting and it has the right qualifications to have a ton of fun while doing the runs! Of course, this is such a suggestion and the mods will have the final word, but I thought of pointing this game out since it's one of my favorites
