Greetings, I'm new around here. I've got a question regarding Time Trial submissions, particularly I'd like ask for a little clarification on what would count as a shortcut/corner cut and about how the game does/doesn't detect them.

To start, I may have hastily attempted to submit a Time Trial run for Detroit that I recorded a while back, for which I have since deleted the submission because in hindsight, I should've asked firsthand.

The question is, for a track such as Detroit in the first sector or perhaps the second Lesmo corner in Monza (just to name two examples) where you could maybe cut up in a certain way without having the lap be penalised in the game, would such type of cut be allowed for submissions as long as the game still counts it as a valid lap?
