Hi!

I have very bad arachnophobia and it was actually really hard to get through this amazing game on the first playthrough without a mod to swap them with something else. If I found a mod that swaps the spider boss and its spawned minions with something else but the same hit box sizes for the monsters - would that be acceptable? As is, I have to look away from my monitor and just fire until the sounds of spiders dying or the cutscene starting which is... not great for anyone. It's not ideal for my mental health or for speedrunning or anything.

I ask because I saw that mods for costumes were allowed as long as they don't change the hit boxes and that weapon aesthetic mods were allowed if they didn't change the weapon mechanics, so I thought I'd shoot my shot.

Does it have to be SNES9X 1.51 still or does it just need to be the newest version of SNES9x at this point and that was the case when this was written in 2018?
