Getaway Shootout

Getaway Shootout Category Extensions

If you have been living under a moderately sized rock recently, you might not have found out that us moderators and @Jception have recently created and released **Embryo**, a speedrunning extension that:

- Allows you to PICK your starting map before a run!

- Skip one or two annoying animations while starting a new game

- Is legal for all speedrun categories and game versions, even the Category Extensions board.
- Works across THREE different sites/versions of the game, all used to set top times in their specific categories.

These things, naturally, will rapidly speed up how efficiently we can push the limits of this 8-year old game that has 5 years of history under its belt. I heavily recommend you **[DOWNLOAD it here](https://www.speedrun.com/getaway_shootout/resources/8ft1g)**, read the instructions, AND get to doing some fast runs :)

Thanks,

Niro, Jception, and the other super moderators :D!
