Ah thats probably my bad from when the board was initially set up and I didn't clarify. Since the game doesn't technically have an NG+ (not including EX mode) I split the board to allow those who didn't have a save with any unlocked weapons outfits to get runs in.

I'll update the rules to show that NG+ is what allows loaded or upgraded items.

From what I saw the current best run in Any% uses the standard items from a new file without any upgrades? They do utilise the dodge and secondary a lot which is important for additional damage against bosses where ammo conservation is key.

Oh wait, you did include it it just cut off when I watched the VOD. But for fairness, I'll keep the timing til the credits music plays

makes sense, I didn't see yours when this was setup and since this one falls correctly under the Simple 2000 Series sub board i'd argue merging it into here would be best (will obviously add you to the list of moderators as well) unless you wanted to get the other board under the Simple Series sub.

In regard to your message about ending happy to have it be the final split be on last hit since I only used fade to black as it was an easier place to split with a free hand from the controller.
