Hey all.
I've run into a situation a few times where, at the end of a relatively long run, I'll accidentally reset the timer instead of pausing it (I forget my hotkeys a bit too often). The final time only shows up for a brief moment when that happens. I'm sure to go through the recording frame-by-frame to get the final time as accurately as I can.
In general, is this something that can invalidate a run, or does there tend to be some leniency when it comes to this?
Thanks in advance.
I'm sure that you will be able to achieve that goal with enough time and practice. and Welcome to the community! (^ ^) /
Hopefully that happens sooner rather than later. Welcome to the community!
Minecraft seems like a fun game to speedrun, the streams are entertaining to watch!

Hello!
You can check the Streaming / Recording / Equipment or The Site forums if you need help with either of those things.

It may sound a bit complicated at first, but Portal seems like a good game for beginners! The majority of the levels are short, and the strategies aren't too difficult to remember. ^ ^
I came across Cant Even run Portal 2 on a GDQ event two years ago. From there my interest in speedrunning gradually became greater, and now, here I am!

Currently, I have my eye on primarily A Hat in Time, but I'm considering returning to Portal eventually.
