It’s skippable because you can’t engage in double battles if you only have one non-fainted Pokemon in the party. There’s no shenanigans involved here.

So I've been thinking about potential suggestions for Cyber Tiger's SRC page and had a couple of thoughts. I'd love for categories with the Game Boy Color, at least starting with like a Stroke Play category with each of the three courses (and maybe one where you run all three courses in one session and I even already have a run on the Game Boy Color version where I did one of the courses).

It would be cool to have a category in Stroke% where you have to do all the courses in one go, like how some other golf speed games do.

As for the N64/Emu/PS1 category separation, I think it would be better to have Emulator be its own thing with a separate PS1 and N64 leaderboard OR have N64 and PS1 allow emulators of their respective consoles to be submitted alongside their console counterparts. That way, Emu leaderboards don't have N64 and PS1 runs be on the same things leaderboard since they are very different games.

There was also a suggestion from someone else I know who would do runs about implementing something they call Practice% for the PS1 version where you do the Practice mode of the game and this is what they suggested: "Practice% is done course by course (but I suppose all courses is also an option) You select/highlight all holes in the course before hitting play. Timer starts once you load in and hit restart. Run ends when the restart prompt pops up after hole 18. The benefits of this run includes reducing menus and screens in-between holes, no need to earn and work in power ups into a run, thus creating a more straightforward and streamlined run."

I personally am in favor of it. Hadn't even considered Base Levels as something I'd consider running but it might honestly bring me to running it if only just to run this game without showing my lack of skill level with the bosses haha.

I am always in favor of adding categories whether if it's main category, misc. or category extensions and I think 01-20 and 21 souls gives curious people more options to consider when picking the game up.

Hi! I'm looking into possibly running the PSP version of this game, but can only do emu runs. I don't see anything in the rules about what PSP emulators are allowed or not or anything specific unless I missed it.

I use PPSSPP as my PSP emulator. Is that fine to use? If not, what should I use?
