Hey everyone, Rain here! Been a while since I touched up this page, this isn't a super popular speed game but I wanted to at least give a heads up on some new changes I've added!
-
[NEW CONSOLE SUBCATEGORY: WEB] I found out this game has an HTML5 port and I wanted browser players to feel included.
-
[NEW CATEGORIES: MULTIPLAYER RACE/SWITCH MULTIPLAYER] New categories designed for the race elimination mode for the Mobile and Switch versions! Get to first place after a determined set of rounds as fast as possible! Runs on Switch can range from two to eight players and can select between three to five rounds!
-
[DEATH% NEW TIMING] Death% on Mobile/Web no longer ends time on the Try Again screen, now ending time on the first frame of the "Save Me!" pop-up showing up. This makes sure all runs end at an equal spot.
-
[EMULATORS FOR MOBILE ARE NOW ALLOWED] I have no clue why I banned them when I first started this page but so many mobile game boards allow emulators that this should've been here from the start, always specify if your run in emulated though.
-
Added Web, Switch 2, Switch OLED to Platforms the game is on.
That should be all, let me know of any feedback you have or changes you would want. Until then, hope y'all have a great one!
I'm glad I gave you that money because I never even caught that you were gonna expose me if I didnt DURING THIS RUN LMAO
Was just talking about this with some community members, it is a homebrew release but, yes it is an official McDonald's endorsed product. Will send a request in, very soon.
Got some experience with this. On my end with MGBA (GBC Emulation), it's just spamming and it randomly decides which textbox to skip? Kind of RNG but I'd need to do more research. For now, I say it's allowed but I'd love to hear more feedback on this. Whatever would make the game easier to run, the better.
I'd recommend this layout, could be changed but this seems most convenient.
LIVESPLIT LAYOUT: Level 1-1 Level 1-2 Level 2-1 Level 2-2 Birthday Cake
That way, you'll be able to account for every level you have to play in order to beat the game. A normal timer is fine as always, but I'm glad to help.
From what I've found, Switch is the slowest in loads while Xbox Series is the fastest and PC is second, the time difference isn't that big yet but if anyone wants a catagory split, the mod is open to it. Also, highly agree on the millisecond recommendation, if this game gets popular, this will be needed
As for Death%, I will admit that I made a weak decision in terms of verifying these runs. From what we have at the moment, Death% starts at level 1 and ends at level 1, as you can die in the tutorial. This can be changed if we get enough feedback as to otherwise but as to now, I will be unverifing the runs.
Mobile categories will always use 140 levels for their runs, 120 levels is just for the runs on Switch, sorry for the confusion
