So I recently submitted my first run for a game however while I am waiting verification and I am wondering how do I go about updating my score?

I see a lot of videos of speed runs and people say that I must have sound in speed runs to prove I am not splicing segments. Will my runs not be accepted if I don't have in-game audio with it?

If I use a Livesplits timer with segments and I either forget to press the button to go to the next segment will my final time still be valid or do I need to start over? Or is it still valid as long as the final time is recorded from start to finish?
