EDIT: For anyone coming across this post in the future, it appears the issue was an uncapped framerate.
Hey Andrea,
I haven't personally experienced the issues you're describing. It sounds like it could be an issue caused by an uncapped framerate?
From memory the game is capped at 60fps. I don't know if a program you're running might be the cause. If you're using the dll wrapper there's a line in the ini file for an FPS Limit. You might be able to try setting that to 60 and seeing how you go.
If you'd like to dm me we can share discord details and then you can ask me any other questions you might have.
Otherwise, congratulations on the runs! It warms my heart to see someone running the game.
I'll be honest I don't understand what you mean.
I've gone ahead and split the platforms either way.
Oh, I just mean that PS2 is faster, so I don't have #1 for the 360 runs I did.
I understand why someone would prefer it split, and I would do it (360/PS3/PC) and (PS2/Wii).
I'm just of the mind that the only incentive to having a split leaderboard like that is the extra WR on someone's profile, which I'm totally fine with accommodating, but at this point in time I'm the only individual being punished for the merger.
What version were you thinking of running?
Ah, sorry about the late response here.
You're totally right that they're vastly different games. The problem is that the PS3 version is also different from the 360/PC version, with new controls and a whole new level. I wasn't really sure if I wanted to have so many categories for each version, when the majority of categories would sit empty.
So I've just left it as a unified leaderboard for now. If more people ever run the game, and there's demand for it split I'll definitely do it, but for now I think this is fine.
This is damn petty I know, but could you capitalise the S's in my name? e.g., SpringStingray
