I think using seed is fine, there are games like Minecraft, Terraria and other games that uses seeds and speedrun.com has seeded categories. Also seed cannot fully copy the run, cause brim can mess up the run, or card may spawn in not convincing place, also card can teleport you to random place that seed cant control. Also you need to grind until you remember everything.
