Connecticut, USAI def think the board should be seperated if we're allowing someone to use key commands to get OOB vs runs that arent using that and just playing the game normally. Especially cause anyone playing on console wont have access to those commands
Yeah if its an official version on official hardware then i dont have a problem with it, I just wasnt aware there was a digital release and assumed you were playing on emulator or hacked console lol. But i did a little research and can see now there was a digital release like you said, and even now the JP version is still on the ps3 store so thats pretty cool.
Theres alot of things i dont like about RePOP so i think im gonna def enjoy running the OG more regardless, especially with how buggy RePOP is currently, but Im interested in seeing skips if theyre being discovered cause the normal OOB stuff being patched out in RePOP turned me off big time lol

Hmm i just noticed when i look at my profile it still lists my New Game PB as third place and not 2nd even tho you split the board lol and even if you click on Shiva's WR it says "2nd" in the info lol
If we're all in agreement can someone change the board to be split? Im not sure how to do it without messing something up lol
Yeah with the load times being such a significant difference I would be in favor of splitting the categories for emu/hardware cause thats a huge advantage and adds up alot throughout the run, and would make it impossible for someone on official hardware to beat that time. Either splitting it into another tab or a drop down menu i think would be most fair, similar to how Demon Souls on ps3 has their leaderboards split.
It would be nice to have an easier place to discuss strats and the like especially with the remaster on the horizon
So made a new route for the shopping, most of the New Game runs I did ive had enough money by the first shop in Vikke's chapter to buy both the Lolli-o-Copter and the 2 Aromatic Oil upgrades, useful to have the quicker knockdown recovery early along with using the Lolli Copter for Mariska Skip, then in her Chapter you just have to buy the dumbells lvl 2 and Butt Attack. If you dont have enough coins for the Oils then just prioritize the Lolli Copter since its needed for the easier version of the skip.
Update: Doing a practice run for New Game and you can indeed buy the Lolli-o-Copter in Vikke's chapter, so this is also viable on New Game. Youll lose a bit of time doing the extra shop but i think its worth it for the time save on the easier ending to the skip.
Hey yall, just started learning this game the other day, the first skip i was having trouble with was the one on the farm, the main part i was having trouble was the end when you get to the tree and have to jump to get on the fence, then getting the rise up on the fence. So I had an idea to use the chainsaw dash + Lolli-Copter to just skip the ending with the fence completely, its super free and much easier, I dont know if this is known cause i didnt see any of the other runs on the board doing it.
ill prob do a fresh file run for now to get used to the run overall and maybe do some testing to see whats possible with the NG+ after
My thought is if this is intended, then we could start a new game and have all the items we needed and not have to waste time going to the shops or anything. We'd also have all the accessories as well. And we could grind for like a ton of perfumes in the Dark Palace near the end of the run and just buy a ton of cologne and toilettes so we'd never have to worry about running out lol
Also other question..Does this game have some secret new game plus or is this just a glitch, When I started a new game immediately after beating the game and skipping the credits, in the new game my inventory has all the items from the previous file. I reset the game and started a new game, my items were gone, so I loaded the file before the final boss, beat her again, skipped the credits and started a new game and all my items were there again
