Just curious @Disheveled_Doggo what type of ps4 do you run on ? I have slim version with HDD and I know that the first fat ones (HDD) are experiencing crashes too. Maybe you run on pro or you have SSD, just wondering what these crashes are actually related to. Also FeelsBadMan about the recording.

Sadly crashes are the main issues on PS4 and last patch doesn't help in any way

What's going wrong capturing PS4 ? Have you disabled HDCP in console video Setting ? It's a common issue. I guess now I Can only run the game on my potato pc.

Guess 1:25 seems pretty good on PS4, I don't know much about PS4 top times since I've only been able to finish one so far, crappy 1:30. But well, I don't know what to do, I litterally can't run at all now, crash everytime...

Running on PS4 is so painful... B12 8-error typing code at Momo's, Seamus' 32 inputs code at dead end, 30 sec cp reloads plus multiple crashes occasions (nightclub please). This is weird cause sometimes I get the standard loadings for codes, noticed that happened during unrestricted. I would wish a patch or something consistent to avoid at least crashes. Idk how reliable running straight After you load game is cause it has kept crashing for me. Maybe trying no reset would help.

That's because Autosplit and load remover only work on PC. If you play on PS5 and want splits, you will have to do it manually and loads won't be removed of course.

I used to stream with really bad internet (~0.7mbs upload). If you select "360 high" on your PS4 streaming settings, there won't be any problem. You can do that or get a capture card and stream via your pc but it's way easier on PS4 (no advanced settings) and free.

Hey there, I was wondering why my run was rejected twice with the note "Please trim the VOD down to just the duration of the run and nothing before or after." I've already posted a couple of runs, all cut the same way, from RE2 title to result screen, without any problem. I'd really appreciate if you can tell me what's wrong with the cut of this particular one. Thanks.

It's a shame they patch that sort of glitch, it was the same on Tomb Raider, devs are so disappointing to me: Come on guys, just fix real bugs ! Stop annoying runnners :/ I guess I'll just focus on glitchless now...

Hey, I play on PS4 and got the 1.3 update this morning. I've launched a Claire B glitched attempt and I've been trying the glitch for like one hour and never got it so far... Any idea ? Is it possible that it's been patched ? Has anyone tried this after the last update today ?

Hey Aly, all versions are equals since there is no loading during the whole run. Keyboard might be useful for some parts but definitely not essential. Have fun !

Hmm interesting question... I realize I haven't thought about that, I was focused on beakers but letters should probably be part of the run. I don't know about all puzzle rooms on the other hand. I'd like to know about other runners' opinions about that, even if a very few would be interested in 100%.

Hey guys, I just got PS4 and RotTR and I've tried some derust runs for fun. Results are kind of weird, this version seems closer to 360 than One. Some tricks are harder, some easier but the biggest issue is that they patched reversed archives so rip this route :( @Brassmaster Are you aware about this ? Maybe there's a way to keep the RA glitch to work, have you played the game recently ?

Edit: I heard skyroll was a thing on One too, never got it on ps4...

Edit2: My bad, flooded archives still works (Zed0's post on sda), the timing to activate firecamp has just changed, just tried it and it works. That's nice.

So it seems ps4 version is ok to run, major glitches are the same on 360, One or PS4. That's interesting to see how slightly different these versions are and how you have to adapt the setup for it to work.

Skips aren't difficult but I have a few specific spots that cause me trouble: How do you guys avoid birds in Letter chapter (second phase) for instance ? ^^
