It's most likely not useful as there's already a pretty fast route through RB. It may have use in the future but not right now.
Amazing I was only ever able to do that in 1-2 using hacks. The 1-1 trick is known.

Is this digital or physical?
Switch 1.01 is still the lowest revision I believe. Not much of anything was patched.
Switch 1.00 can do glitches the other consoles can't. Ps4 and Xbox are equal on the glitch front apart from JF cave skip which PS4 can't do. SSD on Xbox makes loads equivalent to PC's. No idea about digital versions.
I've contacted a mod about this. It should be sorted soon.
