My 13:05 slime time run was verified as a 100% run, but I skipped an optional level at 3:59 in the video

Hey all, I had a quick couple of questions about this game and I see that the forum/leaderboard isn't super active but I figure it's worth a shot. Does anybody know how one would go about altering some of the sprites for enemies in the game (e.g. Ghost Dad), and if someone were to do a run on such a version with purely cosmetic mods, would the run be accepted onto the leaderboard?

Thanks!

I was looking through the marathon runs section and watched Helix's 1P2C run from Midwest Speedfest 2018; they start at event 16 and reset a couple times before getting a successful attempt which starts when the marathon timer reads 0:24. As far as timing the single run, I think it's reasonable to treat those first 24 seconds as runs that were reset and retiming the run starting from that point (i.e. timing the run starting from the selection of difficulty of the successful attempt of the first event rather than starting when the marathon timer started), which would result in that run having a time of 17:0X, faster than their run on the main 1P2C board and thus being a world record. Could we update the leaderboard to reflect that? Here's the run btw: https://www.speedrun.com/project_m/run/y2qpd35y

When you click the "submit run" button it looks like you can check the box that says "emulator" under the choice of console, so it seems like emulators aren't banned. Mods feel free to correct me if I'm wrong in making that assumption

what is the objective of the any% dynasty runs? is it just to make/win a bowl game? or can you lose all the games?

Madison, WI, USASSK5 years ago

could also be interesting to see a "death penalty" dynasty rebuild run: https://www.reddit.com/r/NCAAFBseries/comments/l3ttg5/can_someone_here_explain_to_me_the_rules_of_a/

Just fired up my copy on Xbox, and the same issue is there. Dartmouth's depth chart is messed up in the exact same way on the Xbox and GC versions. This is one of the most weirdly interesting bugs I've seen in any game.

Yeah, I forgot to mention in my original post but none of the other I-AA schools have this issue, it's just Dartmouth. I'd assume none of the I-A schools have this issue, and if they did it'd probably have a noticeable effect on the team's overall.

Watching Spike's run against Dartmouth, I noticed that some of the Big Green™ players were playing out of position-- there was a punter at QB, a LT on defense, etc. I looked into their depth chart and I found something really interesting: almost every position in the depth chart has players starting outside of their intended position: HB at kicker, SS at TE, FB at FS, the list goes on. I wonder if it was some simple organizational error or coding error in the game, since many of the players swapped to a position that starts with the same letter alphabetically-- FB at FS, RGs at ROLB, LE at LG, etc. This doesn't really have any major implications on the speedrun but I thought it was really interesting and I thought you guys might want to know. I'd be curious to see if the Xbox and PS2 versions of the game have this same oversight as well.

I think it would be neat if there were a "friends" or "followers" feature where you can opt into receiving notifications when one of your friends or someone you follow has a run approved, gets a record, etc. My apologies if someone has already suggested this

I actually see there's been an EMU filter added; thank you for taking this into consideration!

It's been a couple of weeks; can I get input from a mod on this?

The Citra emulator seems fine for playing Awakening as far as gameplay is concerned (although there is a glaring visual bug on the battle map). Given the difficulty in finding 3DS capture hardware these days, would the mods be open to accepting emulated runs like the boards for Shadow Dragon and Fates do, or at least opening a separate board for them like the Sacred Stones boards?
