How do i use the shyguy to clip under the ladder to get to the birdo fight? i cant seam to do it

What do you need to do mailbox rng for in the true ending speedrun? also if its very needed for a good reason please tell me the chances of it appearing. also how do you move in flooded phase 3 after getting the orange ending?
