Sorry, I completely missed this forum. I'll reach out to some folks and get back to you!
Thanks, @JakiJo! That means a lot coming from one of the absolute legends of this game!
Thanks! Would love to see you back at it!
Hi everyone! I just submitted my first run and was looking at the WR runs for both the win a game and lose a game categories and noticed that both of them load from a save state (suspend point). I've been speedrunning for a while now and have never seen this allowed on any board. Can someone help me out as to why this is allowed? Thank you!
Where would I submit a run of Dragon's Lair on Sega CD? Would that be a totally new game or does the console need to be added to an existing game?

The PB nobody asked for! Happy Rygtoberfest 2024!
You can certainly optimize the route I used, which is just an adaptation of Shining Dragoon and Josh Keys. Daddio has an interesting route as well with a HUGE airwalk. There was a WR run that was removed that just used the No Wrong Warp route and grabbed the potion in the Sky Castle, but that would require getting incredibly good at No Wrong Warp to pull it off.
McDonald's had an excellent chicken fajita in the 90s. Miss those!
Emulator is definitely at a big disadvantage for this game with having to use the mouse. I tend to wonder if it's even possible, but I'd like to see it!
I also like the point @sYn brings up. I've made suggestions like this before to unify Any% categories on a board into a single category, but it didn't fly. I'd also be fine with keeping one Any% to rule them all and then allow people to filter how they want if people prefer that approach.
I agree on separating the two Any% categories since there are things in PAL that are simply not possible in NTSC (maybe vice versa?), just based upon the runs I've seen, and the runs are substantially different, so having another way to play Any% that would also "count" is very appealing to me.
Thanks! I was able to get Stage 5 to work not knowing that death was a requirement, but that makes sense now! Will have to adjust my Stage 1 route to get the death in there.
Not sure why I haven't noticed this until now, but I see that the top runs skip the timer countdown at the end of Stage 1 and again at the end of Stage 5. Any explanation on how to do this would be greatly appreciated!
There’s something odd about seeing an LE2 run with someone playing LE2
I've never seen so few mods for such a highly played game. Lmk if you need help.
Did a NTSC 100% Deathless run tonight for fun during a decathlon. If there's interest in adding yet another category, I'm happy to submit this one to start it off. Here's the run in all its glory - .
