The src page is yes, amber was added as a mod about 6(?) months ago because the old ones weren't active and there were some runs left unverified. There is no stopping you from still doing runs though, it's still a fun game :)

As long as you are not pausing in the middle of the run, it's fine. Pausing to restart the level is fine.

This has been suggested since the very start of the game. If you want to run it., then run it. Just because there isn't a leaderboard doesn't mean you can't. I'm fairly sure there will never be a category for it purely because it isn't popular and doesn't seem very fun for majority of people.

Thats true, idk how many floors there are but i'm fairly sure since the dungeons are randomly generated it would go to infinite. Having more categories like 10 Floors, 50 Floors etc would clear things up.
