This is probably a stupid question, but are you allowed cl_showpos in runs?

Some people have told me that it's older but I don't know if it's true.

I don't have a capture card at the moment. If I pointed my phone at the TV and did a run, could I submit it?

Is it okay if I pause my timer when I pause so I can change a setting?
